Mango Margarita Ingredients
Mango Margaritas are so delicious, and some of the ingredients have various options to choose from. Below you will find the key ingredients to making a Mango Margarita.
- Fresh Mangos: Opt for fresh mangos instead of mango juice. It'll give the margarita a healthy dose of natural sugars, as well as a fresh taste.
- Orange Liqueur: Orange liqueur is a key ingredient of almost every type of margarita, though the two common types to use are Triple Sec and Cointreau.
- Tequila: This may be the most important ingredient by far. Any tequila will do, whether it's Silver or Reposado.
- Orange Juice: Mangoes are naturally sweet, and fresh orange juice will add a dash of sweetness and a slight tartness that will complement the drink well.

Suppose you're craving a mango margarita and don't feel like sharing your favorite drink with anyone else. In that case, the single-serving recipe is incredibly easy to make.
Ingredients:
- Ice
- 3 ounces tequila
- 1 small mango
- 1 ½ ounces fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce of fresh orange juice
- 2 ounces of orange liqueur
- 1 ½ ounces agave nectar
- Margarita or kosher salt
- 1 lime
Before starting the drink, prepare your margarita glass. Slice the lime into wedges and run one of them along the rim of your margarita glass. Pour some of your preferred salt onto a flat plate and gently dip the glass onto it, lightly coating it with salt. Save the rest of the lime wedges for the garnish.
Peel and pit the small mango and slice it into cubes. Add it, along with the juices, tequila, and orange liqueur, to a blender, and blend until you have a smooth consistency. Though the margarita will already be sweet, you can add extra agave nectar to sweeten it. There will still be some pulp from the mangos left; you can either strain it or leave it in.
